WHY DO WE NEED JESUS?

Many people do not understand why they need to be saved.

Roman 3: 23 says: for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

How could all of us have sinned against God from our birth time?

The Bible says that sin entered into the world by one man and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned (Roman 5:12). Let me explain this further.

In the beginning God created the world, then the first man and woman whose name were Adam and Eve. 

But before them God created angels and among the angels was a particular one, a cherub, most powerful  of God's angelic beings whose name was Lucifer (aka satan) and sometime after his creation, he rebelled against God and took one third of the angels (now referred to as demons) with him in rebellion.

Satan was created as a perfect being. He is described as originally being wise and completely righteous. However, pride caused Lucifer to fall, since he wanted to receive the worship due to God alone. At that point, there was rebellion in heaven as satan convinced one third of the angels to rebel against God. Michael, an archangel of God, fought with God's angels against satan and his angels, with satan losing the battle and being cast from heaven down to earth. However, satan was not finished in his rebellion against God. satan took on the form of a snake in the garden of Eden to tempt Eve. He convinced Eve that God's instructions against eating the tree of knowledge of good and evil were done as a way of keeping something good from her. She believed satan's lie that she would become like God. We do not know where Adam was at the time of satan's temptation, but he followed his wife's lead and also disobeyed God's instructions. Satan continues in his rebellion today, since he hates God and His plans. he wants people to worship him and follow his evil ways so that they will end up in hell together with him. Through Adam  and Eve humanity has sinned against God since we are their descendants. Through Adam and Eve death was passed upon all men as all have sinned. 

The good news however is in John 3:16 : For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

God loves us so much that he could not watch his creation go to hell without doing anything. He then took  on the human form and came down on earth as Jesus to redeem humanity and restore their relationships with Him. The only way therefore we can be reconciled with God is through Jesus Christ who plays the role of our Advocate sitting at the right side of God. There is no other way we can get to God. Neither through Mary nor through Mahomet. They were mere human beings as sinful as you and me. How could they have been right in the sight of God to the point of redeeming us? Impossible. 

Now you know why you need Jesus Christ.

Pray this prayer to Jesus and mean it with all your heart:

Lord Jesus i know i am a sinner, i know i sinned against You and unless You save me i am lost forever. I thank you for dying for me on the cross. I come to You now and ask You to save me. I now receive You as my Lord and Savior and renounce to satan and any satanic activity into my life. Please cleanse me from inside out with Your blood and renew my spirit. I declare that i am now Your servant and a child of God Almighy. Take out of my life anything that does not glorify Your name and use me to save as many souls as possible for the advancement of Your Kingdom. AMEN.
